Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

Mothers of the Mycelium is a nonprofit collective that offers educational workshops, ceremonies, retreats, and community experiences rooted in sisterhood, motherhood, and Earth medicine. Participation in our offerings is voluntary, and by registering or purchasing, you acknowledge that our events may involve wellness practices, group activities, and ceremonial elements. We do not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice, and our offerings are not a substitute for professional care.

 

All payments and donations are used to support the sustainability of our programs, facilitators, and community initiatives.

Refund Policy - the basics

We honor the sacred energy exchange between facilitator and participant, and we understand that unexpected situations may arise. Refunds may be available depending on the timing of the request, the type of offering, and the circumstances of cancellation.

Types of Refunds

 

  1. Full Refund

     

    • Available if requested within 7 days of purchase and at least 30 days prior to the start of the program, retreat, or event.

  2. Partial Refund / Credit

     

    • If cancellation is requested within 14 days of the event start date, a partial refund (50%) or credit toward a future program may be offered.

  3. Non-Refundable

     

    • Once the program, retreat, or ceremony has begun, payments are non-refundable.

    • Deposits used to secure a spot in retreats or ceremonies are non-refundable, unless the event is canceled by Mothers of the Mycelium.

 

 

General Timeframe for Refund Requests

 

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [insert email].

  • Requests will be reviewed and processed within 10–14 business days.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise arranged.

 

 

Conditions for Receiving a Refund

 

Refunds may be approved under the following conditions:

 

  • The request is made within the timeframes listed above.

  • The participant has not already received digital materials (e.g., guidebooks, recorded workshops) that are considered final sales.

  • The event or service was not delivered as described due to cancellation on our part.

  • Extreme or compassionate circumstances (illness, family emergency) may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

 

 

Exceptions

 

  • Digital products (e.g., e-books, downloadable guidebooks, recordings) are non-refundable once delivered.

  • Third-party fees (e.g., travel arrangements, accommodations booked independently by participants) are not the responsibility of Mothers of the Mycelium.
