Misty Powell

Founder & CEO

Misty is a Psychologist, Ancestral Healer, Medicine Women, and  Certified Yoga Instructor, who walks the path she teaches guiding others to transform by offering modalities that heal. Misty is an authentic healer that speaks from the heart center.  She will take you on a journey back to your inner wisdom in such a way that you are embodied and resilient to external forces. By applying holistic formulas, Misty teaches you how to manifest your best life. Misty is honored to share the value of this living tradition and encourage people to experience their infinite potential. She is on a quest to empower others to discover a greater awareness and clear perspective in their everyday lives.

Haize Hawke

Elder Council

Haize is a Heart-Led Spiritual Mentor, Master Birthworker, Facilitator, and somatic practitioner rooted in over a decade of service to Black birthing families and the perinatal workforce. Her work bridges the worlds of traditional midwifery, somatic embodiment, community healing, and leadership development.

 

As a Co-Founder and Board Member of The Victoria Project, Haize helps expand equitable access to licensed midwifery care across California. She also serves as a Board Member of The Bridge Midwives, an organization dedicated to preserving and advancing culturally rooted midwifery pathways. Her leadership supports the sustainability and visibility of Black-centered perinatal care throughout Los Angeles County and beyond.

Andrea Knowles

Threshold strategist for women in seasons of deep transition.

Andrea is a threshold strategist with spiritual intelligence who supports women through major life transitions, including motherhood shifts, grief, relationship change, identity reinvention, and spiritual growth. With over 20 years in education and women’s leadership training, and her M.Ed. in educational leadership, she integrates her Taíno lineage, trauma-informed training, intuitive and embodied insight, and plant medicine wisdom to help women understand inherited patterns, reconnect to their inner authority, and consciously integrate what they carry so they can move through change with clarity, choice, and grounded leadership.

Mariposa

Elder Council

Mariposa Burciaga is a full-spectrum doula and holistic support specialist, offering culturally rooted, spiritually grounded care to birthing people and families. Through Madre Tierra Birthing & Holistic Care, she weaves ancestral wisdom, emotional wellness, and community-centered practices to support people through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and life transitions.

Theresa Golden

Elder Council

Theresa Golden is a Reiki practitioner and Emergence Coach who walks alongside women as they remember who they are beneath conditioning, fear, and inherited silence. Grounded in decades of lived wisdom and consciousness-based study, her work is devoted to creating sacred, compassionate spaces where healing, insight, and self-trust naturally arise.

 

She is currently completing her doctorate in Transformational Leadership and Emergence Coaching, where her scholarship explores consciousness, emotional integration, and the liberation of authentic voice work that deeply informs her ceremonial and healing practice.

 

Through Reiki and Emergence Coaching, Theresa supports young women in reconnecting with their inner knowing, regulating the nervous system, and honoring the wisdom of the body, heart, and spirit. Her presence invites stillness, truth-telling, and gentle unfolding allowing each woman to emerge in her own timing, with clarity, dignity, and power.

 

She offers her service to the Mothers of Mycelium community as an act of devotion to the rising generation of women leaders, healers, and way-showers.

Marché Howell-Wright

Marché Howell-Wright

Marché is based in Los Angeles, where her work lives at the intersection of entertainment, wellness, and the arts. A spiritual maven of sorts, she is a natural community builder devoted to curating spaces that invite creativity, nurture spiritual connection, and foster liberation. Her path spans from creative industries to non-profit administration, with a focus in perinatal wellness and maternal health. She is a proud alumna of The University of Texas at Austin.

Anchored in a lineage of medicine women, Marché carries ancestral wisdom forward through her relationship with plant medicine and holistic healing practices. She is a devoted wellness advocate, committed to making mindfulness, movement, and accessible healing pathways available to everyone, especially mothers. Grounded in cultural reverence, embodiment, and care, Marché weaves together creativity, service, and wellness in support of collective healing.

Geminelle

Community Engagement Chair

For San Diego–born R&B singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Geminelle, music and healing are inseparable. Her work lives at the intersection of sound, reflection, and intentional living using repetition, rhythm, and language to help people transform their internal dialogue and realign with their purpose.

In 2019, Geminelle released her wellness-focused Mantra Loops series as a personal practice to shift her inner world through intentional language. What began as a private ritual quickly became a shared one, supporting the wellbeing and emotional regulation of thousands of listeners. These mantras embedded in her music  continue to evolve, with Mantra Loops Vol. 2. 

Alongside her music and wellness offerings, Geminelle co-founded Arise Wellness with her husband, creating wellness-centered spaces and experiences rooted in alignment, care, and community. Her work has included collaborations with TED, Toni Jones, and D Smoke, all grounded in the same intention: to bridge communities and support transformation through art, presence, and practice.

Sahmia Parks

Communications Chair

Sahmia Parks is a wellness practitioner, somatic yoga instructor, and creative with over ten years of experience in embodied movement and visual storytelling. Rooted in trauma-informed yoga, psychology, and nervous-system awareness, her work supports holistic wellbeing through presence, regulation, and self-connection.

 

With a decade-long background in photography, Sahmia brings a refined sensitivity to space, emotion, and storytelling—shaping wellness experiences that honor both the seen and unseen aspects of healing. Her approach blends structure with intuition, offering thoughtful, culturally grounded practices designed for women, mothers, and community care.

Kiara Brown, also known as 9., is a multidisciplinary artist, mother, and oracle offering spiritual support for artists, creatives, and mothers navigating healing and transformation. Her work weaves forgiveness, inner child healing, embodiment, and reclaiming agency, abundance, and purpose. Rooted in intuitive guidance, prayer, and ritual, her offerings invite self-compassion, grounded growth, and intentional creation.
